We are just Christians–people who profess to follow Jesus Christ. We are not some “kind” of Christians or some particular denomination of people. We are merely a group of people who meet for Bible study and worship on a regular basis in St. Petersburg and who are trying to do our best to understand God’s word and to practice it.

At 14th Avenue, we try our best to teach from the Bible without interjecting human ideas. We believe based on evidence that the message of the Scriptures has been preserved through the ages, and that God’s word has the power to transcend human weakness. As Christians, we believe everyone has an individual obligation to constantly be examining oneself and one’s practices in relation to God’s word.

We would invite you to join us as we worship and study the Bible together. You will not be singled out or embarrassed, but rather welcomed. Prayerfully consider the things you observe. Come and meet us and become familiar with who we are. Feel free to ask questions about anything you see or anything Bible-related.
